tc turns his hand to evil 9s homage to sci-fi ghoulfest, they live. whilst maintaining the originals eerie atmosphere, tc has certainly infused the true drum and bass treatment. techy vocal hooks give way to a pulsing bassline, perfectly suited to a chase scene from a horror flick. on the flip side, tc gives freelands under control a good re-lick here: with a catchy guitar riff, stomping beats, soaring synths and some heavy bassline action, this is smashing stuff. featuring a live band and stunning vocals, courtesy of kurt baumann, the under control remix is an uplifting, euphoric and rock-infused rollercoaster of a ride.

naum gabo is a project of jonnie wilkes (optimo) and james savage. this 12 inch shows the slower side of dance music with links to german progressive rock or more psychedelic music.
>black lab< is a slow cosmic dancer, while the remix by japanese nu disco artist discosession is deep and gorgeous slowhouse. >torus< is like a pre-techno sound which came from progressive rock.

since 2002, dj and producer kook and brazilian singer roxxy bione are now a duo. without a doubt, they are typical dirty and danceable berlin electro and rock n roll. important to them: no run of the mill concert atmosphere. they prefer people to dance and freak out, not just swaying to the music. kook feat. roxxy bione don t hide behind a laptop, but submit microphone stands and stage floor to grueling tests. the musics charm is a result of glamorous pop, rockin electro sounds and groovy dance – often crowned with driving singing. >phantom hitchhiker< is the first evidence of this danceable dangerous romance called kook & roxxy.
latest project by longtime dfa alumni gavin russom, inspired by euro disco, wonky early electronic body music and global psychedelic rock. death tunnel is a hot club cut just waiting to be unleashed, while the flip world eater is a more mid tempo groover with a strong ebm lean.
the new, first time ever on vinyl 2lp reissue of a long way around to a shortcut is somehow a greatest hits of the golden not quite decade of sic alps. well, not quite golden, either. can gold be tarnished? can it be done on purpose? if so, sic alps are artisans of the highest order - for their music is the bright, surging sound of ye olde rock & roll radio (and the garages that tuned in) heard through air darkened with specks of nameless obstruction. in and amongst their ingrown sounds, sic alps take on classic tunes from strapping field hands, throbbing gristle and the zipps on a long way around to a shortcut. it is to their credit that they completely absorb their estimated predecessors and create the only sound left to them: the sound of the sic alps. a long way around to a shortcut was issued as a cd in 2008. it collected songs that were first issued throughout the epic years of 2006 and 2007 on two 12inch eps, three 7inch singles and a cassette, plus a song from a compilation cd r and a song exclusive to this compilation. the records were originally given titles like united, strawberry guillotine, semi streets, hip hop sweepers vol 1, teenage alps, and the soft tour in rough form, but all these original releases are long gone.
amp is a bag inspired by the typical guitar amplifiers, most of which, have come to define the sound of major or more underground rock bands. we pay homage to this legendary machine, by using its image for synch’s largest bag. the bag has an easily removable internal shell, that protects the content, giving it at the same time the appearance of a real amplifier. at the back of the bag you can find a big pocket, extremely practical for immediate use. the amp bag can be used as shoulder bag or as backpack.type: backpack & shoulder bag dimensions: 39 x 14 x 31 cm material: printed pvc extra: large external pocket, removable internal rigid body
nice price deal !!! limited white label 4 track ep featuring some dope remixes from ruckus roboticus that never appeared on vinyl. until now. his dancefloor friendly remixes of bloc partys >hunting for witches<, pase rocks >so f*cking disco<, kanye wests >love lockdown< and lmfaos >i m in miami bitch<. the bloc party mix is perfect for the electro heads (think dfa or gomma), while his kanye remix might be the best house remix of that track done yet and his pase rock remix is a fidget house anthem in the making. get this!
altair nouveau is among the spaciest of dfaÆs recent signings, a producer clearly as in love with the soundtracks of john carpenter as he is with italo covers of classic rock tunes. >space fortress< saves its best for the final two minutes with a synthesized trumpet lead thatÆll have you either pumping your fist or reaching for the off switch. >showdown<, meanwhile, more adequately gets at mitchellÆs soundtrack love, with its pleasantly percolating backing track giving a chance to various sounds to prove their worth. >sorcerer< embraces the hints of flourish that mitchell dropped in spots elsewhere, and goes full-on with the funk. itÆs tough, well-produced and a little bit funny to listen to in the privacy of your own homeùjust like the 80s soundtrack music that it so readily recalls.
demetrio giannice is an italian swiss living in zurich & very active in the underground house scene. he recently released on his own enterbt records label (enterbt means disinherited in german), and soon to be released on drumpoet. third ear recordings have had this ep for more than a year. we ve been itching to get these deep house jams out there ever since we got them, and now here they are.
function returns with a strong follow up to his debut on sandwell district with his new single, >anticipation< . a delicate balance between ancient and modern, this rock solid ep rides the line between true minimal techno and deep hypnotic psychedelia !! ltd repress!!
computor rockers return after the worldwide hit that was computor interface (brk49) with another showcase of exactly how electro should be put together. all too often retro can mean dull and uninspired (or just lame plagiarism), but anyone who has been following ed dmxs career over the last several years will know that really isnt the way he plays the game. instead he understands the value of songs and melody... the beats are fresh, without a doubt, but it will usually be the tune or the lyrics that will hook you into a dmx production, the elements that turn just another electro track into something unique and valuable. and so it proves here, from the classic computor shock (which helpfully comes in vocal and instrumental versions for those who just cant do the voice thing) to the melodic and hooky electro-funk of how we used to rock and distributed processing. stunning as always!
enough of this featuring crap, the starring title seems much more appropriate for club siren luciana. as featured vocalist for bodyrox, the hits yeah yeah and planet topped club charts and led to her cheekily titled debut cd featuring luciana. further tracks with mark knight, super mal and martijn ten velden, have cemented lucianas spot as an electro vixen who can deliver hot vocals with a great track. turning her attention stateside, she has teamed up with richard vission & static revenger for i like that. remixes come from new boys meterhead who hail from la and are doing big things in blogland. the track seemlessly blends electro, glitch, rock and hiphop elements with an 80s feel that is both nostalgic and futuristic. limited edition promo get em while you can!!
ac/dcs storming 1980 return after bon scott tragically past away! a tribute to bon scott, and the 2nd largest selling album of all time with over 40 million copies sold worldwide.

plaupez >l ame d un singe< is the 1st release from alma soul music. this ep has a mixture of music styles wich include deep, tech & minimal house. plaupez original mix is certainly a good example of the genre variety, its house base blends into a tech atmosphere with a futurist melody. jon gurd s version is ideal for a late night mainfloor, with powerful basses and energic percussions. vasco inspirian offers his particular sound wich has a very noticing detroit influence and licuadora system s remix minimalizes the track with his frenetic minimal- house version. all four tracks are composed by very talented artists and the result is ready to rock any dance floor!
nice price deal !!! rafale are julien henry (sampler, laptop and keyboards) and marc aumont (bass), and have been making music since 2006. rafale offers an intense live with violent beats and saturated basses. their live set, both nervous and dancefloor-oriented, is a successful marriage of club and rock, which flickers from blog house hits to synthetic choruses. this new ?drive? killer tune by rafale is backed by remixes by grum, arnaud rebotini (blackstrobe), and tez.
